Corruption Is King

August 17, 2007

Dudes and chicklets, make plans, the soothing sounds of Rocket Fuel next week in the KC area
Its been a while but we're back at it next week. Friday Aug 24th at The Record Bar in KC with Riddle Of Steel, Super Black Market and Billy's other current band Paper Cities. There is an unsubstantiated rumor that Mike Allmayer of Pedal Jets and Grither fame may be at the show Friday. Come on out for your chance to get a glimpse of the mystery man himself. Then Saturday Aug 25th at The Bottleneck with our old buds Coalesce. Brings back fond memories of practicing in Jes's house outside of KC, KS. Everything was great until those bratty upstart punks The Get Up Kids started practicing there and stealing our drum sticks and such. Interesting how things play out over time.

I'm playing some hockey (yeah, on ice) while up in KC with Duane Trower from Season To Risk (and numerous other bands). Let me know if you want to join us, and don't forget to get your skates sharpened. Should be good times. The new NHL season is just around the corner and its about time, but I digress...

Maybe some ink while in town, and I just heard The Hearers are opening for The Meat Puppets on Sunday at The Record Bar. That'll be neat.

The latest RFITK CD Stroke Of Genius, is in stores now and you can "buy it here now!", directly through the band. New T-shirts are available, these'll be available at the upcoming shows in limited quantities and are available on the store page now. Support the cause, buy a CD and T today.

If they ain't got it already, tell the employees at your local record store to order the Rocket Fuel Is The Key CD Stroke Of Genius (you can let record store employees know that it is distributed by Carrot Top and Electric Fetus in the States and Carrot Top and Sonic Rendezvous on the other side of the Atlantic).

One listen and there's no going back. Stay true to who you are, there is no one else like you... anywhere, and thats a good thing.
